Find the Sheep is a queens-style logic puzzle set in a pasture: exactly one sheep hides in every color, every row and every column — and no two sheep ever stand next to each other, even diagonally. Cross out the impossible, reveal the flock, and never once guess.

If you've been pulled into the queens puzzle craze — Queens on lunch breaks, Meowdoku on the commute, all cousins of the classic star battle — Find the Sheep will feel like coming home to the farm. The board is split into colored pastures, and three laws govern the flock: one sheep per color, one per row and column, and no two sheep touching, not even at the corners.

Those three little rules interlock into surprisingly deep deduction. A skinny color squeezed into a single row claims that whole row; a sheep you've found clears its row, column, color and every neighbouring tile in one satisfying sweep; and some tiles are impossible for the sneakiest reason of all — put a sheep there, and a nearby color would have nowhere left to live.

The ✕ is your thinking tool. Tap any tile to cross out where a sheep can't be, tap again to change your mind — marks are free and unlimited, and you can hold and drag to sweep a whole run of them at once. When the logic clicks and only one tile remains, double-tap it and the sheep pops out of the grass with a happy bleat. Once a sheep is out, the game crosses off what the rules already settle — its row, its column, its colour and the ring of tiles around it. That part is bookkeeping, not thinking; every deduction that actually needs a decision is still yours.

Reveals, however, are commitments: double-tap an empty tile and you lose a heart — and the meadow resets on the spot, ✕ marks and all. Your remaining hearts carry over, and because every level is deterministic, the retry is the exact same board: the puzzle that caught you is the puzzle you get to out-think. Burn all three hearts and the flock scatters before your hearts refill for another go.

Every board is dealt by a generator that checks two things before you ever see it: the solution is unique, and a step-by-step logic solver can reach it without a single guess. Boards grow from a friendly 4×4 to a brain-bending 8×8, levels are endless, progress saves on your device, and the whole thing runs instantly in your browser — no download, no account, no luck.
