Slice Hop is a one-tap knife flipping game: a chef's knife hops and flips along a row of cutting boards, slicing every piece of fruit its blade sweeps through. Landing is the skill. The knife sticks only when it comes down blade first on a wooden board — the classic Flippy Knife rule — so you learn to count the spin: one clean hop for close boards, a double tap for the wide gaps, and patience when the knife is already turning the right way. Land on the handle or flat and it bounces; fall between the boards or touch the sticky pink jelly and the run is over.
The fruit gets more varied as you go — watermelons, apples, oranges, kiwis, pineapples and more, all drawn by the game itself — and the courses grow longer, with taller boards, wider gaps and more jelly in the way. Tips for Slice Hop
- One clean hop lands blade first on a close board — don't tap twice where once will do.
- A second tap at the top of the flip carries the knife much further; save it for the wide gaps.
