Deep Catch is a fishing game with a twist: on the way down you dodge the fish, on the way up you catch them. Sell your haul, buy a longer line, a bigger hook and a better boat, and go deeper for rarer fish. If you have played Tiny Fishing or Ridiculous Fishing, you already know the loop — cast, dive, reel, upgrade, repeat.

The cast-and-upgrade fishing loop is one of the most popular formats in browser games — Tiny Fishing has topped the fishing charts on Poki for years, and newer hits like Sea Catcher and Fishing World keep the category busy. Deep Catch plays it free, with nothing to install, and borrows the best idea of the classic Ridiculous Fishing: the dive is a dodging game. The first fish you touch on the way down bites, and the reel starts — so the deeper you want to go, the more carefully you steer.

Once the reel starts, the rules flip: every fish the hook sweeps through on the way up is caught, until the hook is full. A good trip is a deep, clean dive followed by a greedy climb through the busiest water. Pink jellyfish spoil both halves — going down they sting the hook to a stop, going up they knock a fish off. The catch lands in the boat, and the trip card shows every fish you brought home, drawn with its own colours and markings.

Coins buy upgrades in three lines. A longer line takes the hook from 25 metres down to 245 in eight steps; a bigger hook holds more fish on the way up; a better boat multiplies every sale. Twenty species live at different depths, from sprats, minnows and clownfish near the surface to tuna, swordfish and barracuda, and further down the glowing lanternfish, viperfish and anglerfish of the abyss — with the golden koi as the prize of the collection log.
