The short version

crokocat does not ask you to create an account and does not knowingly collect personal information such as your name or address. Your game scores and settings are stored locally in your own browser. We use standard server logs to keep the site running, and we may show advertising provided by third parties, which can use cookies as described below.

Information we collect

• Local game data. High scores, progress and preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device. This data never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
• Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of your request. This is used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We and our partners may use cookies to remember preferences, measure traffic and serve advertising (see below).

Advertising and third-party cookies

crokocat is a general-audience site and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where required, advertising served to visitors we treat as children is limited to non-personalized ads.

Your choices

You can clear or block cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings; note that clearing local storage will also erase your saved game scores. Most browsers also let you browse in a private mode that does not retain cookies.
