Block Crush is an 8x8 block puzzle in the spirit of Block Blast: drag pieces from the tray onto the board, complete rows or columns to blast them away, and keep the board breathable for the next hand of three. No timer, no rotation — just you against the grid.

If you've ever played Block Blast, Blockudoku or any 8x8 block puzzle, you already know the loop: three pieces arrive in the tray, each one has to fit somewhere, and every full row or column you complete vanishes with a satisfying crunch. Block Crush keeps that loop exactly as it should be — and runs right in your browser, no app store required.

The twist that makes the genre so addictive is that pieces can't be rotated. That L-shape is an L-shape forever, so you're not reacting — you're planning. Good players think one hand ahead: where will the next three pieces go if I spend this corner now? The board is small, but the decision tree is anything but.

Combos are where scores explode. Clear lines with consecutive placements and each clear is worth more than the last — a long streak with multi-line blasts can out-score ten minutes of cautious play. Risking a crowded board to set up a double or triple clear is the core skill, and the glowing preview shows you exactly which lines will blast before you commit.

The game ends when none of your remaining pieces fit anywhere. Your best score is saved on your device, so there is always a number to chase. One more hand rarely stays one more hand.

How to play Block Crush

Block Crush takes ten seconds to learn and a long time to put down. A short guided tutorial walks you through your first blast.

Desktop: Click and hold a piece, drag it over the board — a ghost shows where it will land and glowing lines show what will blast — then release to place.
Mobile: Touch and drag: the piece floats above your finger so you can see the board, with the same ghost preview. Drop it on a highlighted spot.
