Line Fall is the timeless falling blocks puzzle, made soft and bright: seven kinds of pieces fall into a ten-wide well, and every row you fill clears away. Clear the goal on each level — or play endless and see how long you last as it speeds up.

Pieces come from shuffled sets of seven, so you never wait too long for the long one. The next three are shown above the well, and you can keep one piece aside to swap in later.

A faint ghost shows where the piece will land; turns kick off walls and other blocks so a piece fits where you'd expect.

Clearing several rows at once scores more — a double is worth three singles, a four-line clear eight — and your stars on each level come from those points.

Levels speed up as you climb, and from level six the well starts with grey rows full of gaps that you have to dig through.

Endless mode keeps going and gets faster every ten lines.

How to play Line Fall

Fill rows to clear them:

Desktop: Arrow keys to move, up or X to turn, Z to turn the other way, down to speed up, space to drop, C to keep a piece.
Mobile: Drag, tap and flick with one finger. Hold the phone upright.
