Tile Temple is mahjong solitaire with chunky, glossy 3D tiles stacked into temples, towers and bridges. Take the tiles off in matching pairs — but only the free ones: nothing may lie on a tile, and its left or its right side has to be open. Clear the whole layout to go on.

Blocked tiles are softly shaded, so you always see which ones you can take right now; the pills at the top count the tiles left and the free pairs available.

The tiles are drawn for the game: dots, bamboo and numbers from one to nine, four winds, three dragons, and flowers and seasons that match any other flower or season.

Every deal is built backwards from an empty table — pairs are put down only where they can later be taken off together — so every level can be cleared. Choose badly and you can still get stuck; a shuffle deals the tiles left again, still clearable.

Layouts grow with the levels: a small two-layer staircase to start, a gate, twin towers, a diamond, a bridge and the full 144-tile temple.

Take pairs quickly one after another for a rising chime. Undo, shuffle and the bulb are always there; a clean clear is worth three stars.

How to play Tile Temple

Remove every tile in matching pairs:

Desktop: Click tiles. Ctrl+Z takes back a pair, Escape returns to the menu.
Mobile: Tap tiles. Hold the phone upright.
