Spider Silk is Spider solitaire: two decks, ten columns and a deck of five rows. Build runs from King down to Ace in a single suit; a finished run lifts off the table by itself. Clear all eight runs to win. The first levels are played with one suit, then with two — and every deal in Spider Silk can be won.

Any card can go onto a card one rank higher, whatever its suit — a 7 of hearts on an 8 of spades — which is how you dig down to the face-down cards. But only cards of one suit in order move together, so the real aim is to sort each column into clean single-suit runs.

Moving a card turns over the card under it. An empty column takes any card or any run, and is the most valuable space on the table: use it to untangle a column, not to park a card for good.

When no move helps, tap the deck at the top right: every column gets one new card, face up. Empty columns must be filled first. Five rows are in the deck; the small badge shows how many remain.

When a column ends in King to Ace of one suit, the thirteen cards sweep up to the pile at the top left, with a little climbing click for each card.

Every deal is played through by a solver before you see it. Levels one to eight use one suit; from level nine every deal has two. Unlimited undo and a bulb that shows a good move; a clean game with neither is worth three stars.

The first deal teaches itself: a hand shows every move — drags and deals — with one line of why, all the way to the end.

How to play Spider Silk

Clear the table by building eight runs from King to Ace, each in one suit:

Desktop: Drag cards with the mouse or click to send them where they fit; click the deck to deal. Ctrl+Z undoes, Escape returns to the menu.
Mobile: Drag or tap cards, tap the deck to deal. Hold the phone upright.
