Arrow Digger is a 3D block puzzle. A figure is built out of small cubes, and each cube carries a single arrow. Tap it and the cube shoots out of the figure in that direction — but only if the whole line ahead of it is empty. If you have played Tap Away 3D, Block Away or Cube Away, the rule reads in one tap. What is different is where the arrow lives: it is painted on the side of the cube, not on top, and only one side of six carries it. The arrow you need is often facing away from you, or buried under a neighbour that has not been dug out yet.

The figure is a solid built from cubes, and the arrow on each one points straight out of one of its faces. Removing is unforgiving in a good way: the cube travels in a straight line until it leaves the shape, and anything on that line stops it — a neighbour, or a wall of the figure ten cells further on. Nothing is random about which cube is stuck; the answer is always visible, if you look from the right side.

There is exactly one arrow per cube, and it is never duplicated onto the other faces. That single choice is what makes the game about turning the figure rather than scanning it once: an arrow can be pressed flat against a neighbour and stay invisible until that neighbour is gone. The layouts are built so that every arrow does become visible before its cube is needed — usually just a move or two before, so the shape has to be re-read after each tap.

Three hundred levels, and every one of them is a different figure — blocks, stairs, pyramids, frames, tubes, rings, a Menger sponge, a gyroid, and procedurally grown lumps that are mirrored across one, two or three axes so they read as designed rather than random. They run from eight cubes to three hundred and fifty, and the arrows are laid out so that only a handful of cubes are ever free at once: this is a game about finding the one that can move, not about picking from twenty that can.

Every fifth level drops the colours and goes monochrome — white with black arrows, then black with white, alternating. On the colour levels the tint of a cube tells you its direction, which is a real hint; on the monochrome ones there is no hint at all and only the arrow itself will tell you.
