Loop Belt is a conveyor colour-sort puzzle. Trays of coloured blocks sit inside a looping belt. Tap a tray and its top blocks slide out onto the belt, ride round and drop into a tray whose top block is the same colour. Four of one colour in a tray clear away. Sort every block before the belt overflows. If you like Loop Master, CarLoop or Pixel Flow, you know the feeling.
Conveyor sorting puzzles are one of the big mobile hits of the year: games like Loop Master, CarLoop and Pixel Flow turned a simple belt that goes round and round into a puzzle millions of people play on the bus. Loop Belt brings the idea to the browser as a quick level game with no download, no lobby and no waiting.
The rules fit in one line. Each tray holds up to four blocks in a row, and the block at the belt end is the top. Tap a tray and its top run of one colour slides out onto the belt. As the belt carries a block past the trays, it drops into the first tray whose top block matches it and has room. When no tray wants that colour, it drops into an empty tray instead. Four blocks of one colour in a tray pop away. Clear every block to win.
Every level the belt takes a new shape: a rounded box, a figure eight, a U with an entry and an exit gate, a straight bar, a wave, an arch or a hook. On the belt each block splits into thin plates that chase each other round the curves, then snap back into a block when they land in a tray. The catch is the belt itself. It only holds so many blocks, and the dots at the top show how full it is. Send out blocks that have nowhere to go and they just ride round and round, taking up space. Send out more than the belt can hold and it overflows, and the level is over. So you look ahead: which tray to empty first, where a colour will land, and when to wait for the belt to clear. Later levels bring more colours, more trays, a shorter belt and blocks hidden under question marks until they reach the top.
Stars reward a tidy belt: finish without ever crowding it for three. Stuck? The bulb points at the tray to tap next, and a short video tops up hints. If the belt overflows, a video adds two belt spaces once per level so you can keep going. Loop Belt runs on desktop, phone and tablet, saves your level, stars and hints in the browser, and the leaderboard ranks the players who climbed the highest. The first level has just two trays and a hand that shows you where to tap.
How to play Loop Belt
Sort every block without overfilling the belt:
- Tap a tray to send its top blocks onto the belt.
