Thirteen Online
Thirteen is Tiến lên, the Vietnamese climbing card game, against three computer players. Beat the play on the table with the same kind and a higher card — singles, pairs, runs and pair runs — chop the 2s with a four of a kind, and be among the first to empty your hand.
Southern rules: 3 is the lowest rank and 2 the highest; spades are the lowest suit and hearts the highest.
A four of a kind or three pairs in a row chops a single 2; a four or four pairs in a row chops a pair of 2s.
Pass and you sit out until the next round, when the last player to play leads anything.
The 3 of spades starts every game; the first game is coached.
Finish in the top two to pass the level, first out for three stars.
How to play Thirteen
Empty your hand early:
- Tap cards to pick a play: a single, pair, triple, four, a run or a pair run.
- Beat the play on the table with the same kind and size and a higher top card.
- Can't or don't want to? Pass — you're out until the next round.
- Lead anything when everyone else has passed.
- Get out first or second to pass the level.
Desktop: Click cards to pick them, then play or pass.
Mobile: Tap cards to pick them, then play or pass.
