Bus Jam
Bus Jam is a 3D parking puzzle: a lot packed with buses, a ring of colour-coded passengers going round it, and four bays in between. Every bus points somewhere, and tapping one sends it straight ahead — so the whole game is working out which bus can leave now, and whether it is the colour the queue actually needs.
The lot is the puzzle. Buses sit at every angle, nose to tail, and a bus can only drive in the direction it is already facing — tap one with something in front of it and it shakes and stays where it is. So the first question is always which vehicles are free to move at all, and the second is whether moving them opens or buries the one you really want.
The second question is the one that decides levels, because the passengers are picky. Around the lot a ring turns with rows of colour-coded people on it, and they board only a bus of their own colour. There are four parking bays to start with, and once a bus is parked it is committed: it sits there taking its colour until it is full and drives off. Fill your bays with the wrong colours and the ring keeps turning with nobody able to get on.
That is the deadlock the title warns about. If the ring is full, none of the parked buses match anything on it, and there is no free bay left, the level is over and you start it again. Three more bays can be unlocked with the coins you earn — seven in total — and they are the pressure valve, but the coins are finite and the price rises with each one, so an extra bay is a decision rather than a habit.
Buses differ in size: small ones take four or eight passengers, long ones eight, twelve or sixteen, and a full bus pulls away, frees its bay and pays out — five coins for a big one, three for a medium, one for a small. From level 20 the lot also refills, with fresh buses rolling in from off-screen as the pile thins out, so clearing the visible cars is not the same as clearing the level.
There are 300 levels and they build slowly: the lot grows from four columns to nine, the rows from four to thirteen, and the palette from two colours upward. Every level is generated from its own number, which means level 137 is the same level on your phone as on your laptop, and every layout is checked to be solvable before you ever see it — if you are stuck, the order is wrong, not the level.
How to play Bus Jam
One tap does everything. The thinking is in the order:
- Tap a bus to send it out of the lot. It drives straight ahead, so it can only leave if its path is clear.
- A bus that gets out parks in one of your bays. You start with four.
- People on the ring board the bus that matches their colour; a full bus drives off and frees its bay.
- Coins come from departing buses — 5 for a big one, 3 for a medium, 1 for a small.
- Spend coins to unlock extra bays, up to seven, or watch an ad for one.
- If the ring fills up, no parked bus matches it and no bay is free, it is a deadlock and the level restarts.

Tips for Bus Jam
- Read the noses before you tap anything. A bus is free only if the lane it is facing is empty all the way out, so the pile has an order and most of it is not the order you see first.
- A parked bus is a committed bay. Sending out a colour nobody on the ring wants costs you a quarter of your parking for as long as it sits there.
- Watch what is coming round the ring, not just what is in front of it. The colour you can serve in ten seconds matters more than the one you can serve now.
- Big buses pay five coins and small ones pay one, but big buses also hold a colour far longer. Late in a level the small one is often the better clear.
- Save coins for the fourth and fifth bay rather than buying the first extra bay early — the price climbs with every bay you open.
- On VIP levels find the black bus first and count how much digging it needs. The timer only starts when the VIP reaches the ring, so the work you do before that is free.
