Gulp City is a hole game: you are a black hole in a busy 3D city, and anything that fits falls in. Start with people, cones and benches, grow into cars and trees, then houses, shops and finally the tallest towers. Three rival holes are hungry too — swallow the smaller ones and keep away from the big ones. If you liked Hole.io or Donut County, this is the same kind of fun in your browser.

Hole.io made a simple idea famous: you are not a character but a hole in the ground, and the city around you is lunch. It is still one of the most played games on Poki, and Donut County gave the same idea a story. Gulp City is a free browser hole game in that spirit — a short timed battle in a colourful 3D city, with nothing to install and no sign-up.

Everything in the city has a size. A hole can only swallow what fits through its mouth, so you start tiny, eating pedestrians, traffic cones, hydrants and benches along the sidewalks. Every bite makes the hole a little wider: soon parked cars and street trees drop in, then buses and kiosks, houses, shops with their awnings, office towers and at last the skyscrapers in the middle of town. Watch them tip over the edge and sink into the dark.

Three rival holes share the city with you, each with a name and a colour. They hunt the best food nearby, chase holes that are smaller than them and run from bigger ones — and a hole that is clearly bigger than another swallows it whole. A swallowed hole comes back a few seconds later, smaller, on a street corner away from danger, so a bad moment is never the end of the round.

A round lasts eighty seconds. When the bell rings, the biggest hole wins: first place earns three stars, second two and third one, and the top three clear the level. Each level is a new city, with more towers and rivals that move faster and choose their food more cleverly. Gulp City runs on desktop, phone and tablet, and your level and stars are saved in your browser. It is a quick game to pick up — one round fits into a short break.

Tips for Gulp City

Who made Gulp City?

Gulp City was built by crokocat game studio in 2026 — a browser take on the hole game made popular by Hole.io and Donut County, with an instanced 3D city of hundreds of objects, rival holes that hunt and flee, and a new city every level.

About this game

Controls
Touch anywhere and drag: a stick appears under your finger and the hole moves the way you drag — a short drag is slow, a longer one full speed. With a keyboard, use the arrow keys or WASD. The round starts with your first move; the clock, your place and the sizes of all four holes are at the top, and every hole has its name tag.

Frequently asked questions

Is Gulp City free to play?

Yes. Gulp City is free on crokocat with no download and no sign-up — it runs in your browser on desktop, phone and tablet.

Is Gulp City like Hole.io?

Yes, it is the same kind of game: you move a hole through a city, swallow everything that fits to grow, and the biggest hole at the end of the round wins. Gulp City plays against three computer rivals, so it works offline and needs no account.

How do I move the hole?

Touch and drag anywhere on the screen — the hole moves in the direction of your drag. On a computer you can also use the arrow keys or WASD.

Why won't that building fall in?

It is too big for your hole. Keep eating smaller things until the mouth is wide enough, then come back.

What happens if a bigger hole swallows me?

You lose part of your size and come back a few seconds later on a quiet street corner. The round goes on.

How long is a round?

Eighty seconds. The clock starts when you first move.

How are stars counted?

First place at the bell earns three stars, second two and third one. Fourth place means trying the level again.
