Touchdown is a plane landing game about the best half-minute of every flight: the final approach. You start a couple of kilometres out with the runway in sight, fly the airliner down the glide path with one stick, lower the gear, lift the nose just above the runway and set it down on the aiming bars. Every landing is scored out of 100. If you like Can You Land? or Pilot Life, you'll feel right at home.

Landing games have taken off this autumn. Can You Land? is one of the hottest new games on CrazyGames, and Pilot Life arrived on Poki the same week — both built around the same nerve-racking moment: lining up, lowering the gear and putting a big plane down gently. Touchdown brings that moment to your browser in short levels you can fly in under a minute, with clear visual cues instead of a cockpit full of dials.

Each level is one approach. Drag sideways to bank and turn, up and down to lift or drop the nose. A green ring shows where to fly to stay on the glide path, and four PAPI lights next to the runway tell the same story the way real pilots read it: two white and two red means you are on the path, all white is too high, all red is too low. Lower the gear in time — the lever flashes and beeps if you forget — and just before the wheels touch, lift the nose for a soft landing. Pull up too early and you float past the aiming bars; forget to flare and you thump down hard.

Every landing is scored on four things: how gently you touched down, how close you came to the aiming bars, how well you held the centreline and how level the wings were. Ninety points and up earns three stars. Land short, off the side of the runway, gear up, too hard or on a wingtip and it is a crash. The levels get tougher as you go: crosswind that pushes you sideways, gusts and turbulence, approaches that start off to one side or too high, shorter and narrower runways, fog, rain, snow, night landings with only the lights to guide you, and windshear that drops you a few metres with a second's warning.

You fly into three airports: an island runway out in a blue sea, a snowy alpine valley ringed by mountains, and a harbour city of colourful towers. Stuck on a tricky approach? A guide draws frames along the glide path to fly through — you start with three, and a short video gives you more. Crashed a second before touchdown? A video rewinds the last five seconds, once a level. Touchdown runs on desktop, phone and tablet, saves your progress in the browser, and ranks the highest levels on the leaderboard.

Tips for Touchdown

Who made Touchdown?

Touchdown was built by crokocat game studio in 2026 — a plane landing game in the spirit of Can You Land? and Pilot Life, with real runway markings and lights, three airports and every landing scored out of 100.

Frequently asked questions

Is Touchdown free to play?

Yes. Touchdown is free on crokocat with no download and no sign-up — it runs in your browser on desktop, phone and tablet.

Is Touchdown like Can You Land?

It plays on the same idea — fly the final approach and land a big plane gently. Touchdown is a separate game by crokocat with its own airports, levels and scoring.

How is a landing scored?

Out of 100: sink rate at touchdown, distance from the aiming bars, distance from the centreline and the bank angle. 90 and up is three stars.

What do the red and white lights mean?

They are PAPI lights. Two white and two red means you are on the glide path; more white means too high, more red means too low.

Why did I crash?

The card tells you: gear up, too hard, wing strike, landed short, off the runway or missed the runway.

How do I land softly?

Fly the glide path down and, just above the runway, drag up to lift the nose. Too early and you float long; too late and you land hard.

What is the guide?

A row of frames along the ideal glide path. You start with three guides; a short video gives you more.
