Cube Arena
Cube Arena is a fast, blocky first-person shooter that runs straight in your browser: Quake-style arena rules, Roblox-style cube people, five weapons plus a knife, and a match that ends the moment somebody hits 15 frags.
Cube Arena takes the old arena-shooter formula — everyone drops into one map, everyone hunts everyone, first to the frag limit wins — and dresses it in cheerful cubes. The fighters are blocky little figures with the toy-brick look Roblox made a generation fluent in, but the game underneath is pure 1990s deathmatch: no loadouts to unlock, no battle pass, no menus between you and the fight. You spawn with a machinegun and whatever you can pick up from the floor.
The arena is a single 90×90 map built for movement. Towers, ledges, ramps and open ground give you three or four ways into every fight, and the good stuff is deliberately awkward to reach — the sniper sits up on the north-east tower, the rocket ammo is out in the open, and health pickups hover where you have to commit to get them. Learning where the crates respawn is half the skill; the other half is knowing when a fight is worth taking.
Six weapons cover every range. The machinegun chips away at anyone at mid distance, the shotgun turns a corner ambush into an instant kill, rockets do 90 damage and reward leading your target, the railgun punishes anyone who stands still, and the sniper is a one-shot kill through the scope and a wild spray without it. The knife is always in your pocket with unlimited swings — humiliating and, at 55 damage, genuinely dangerous.
You can play it alone against bots, or open it up: quickplay drops you into the first public arena with room, and a private room gives you a six-character code to send to friends so a whole lobby is one link away. Kills leave ammo crates behind, corpses become supply drops, and the scoreboard updates live until someone reaches 15 frags and the match results come up. Then you hit Next Match and do it again.
How to play Cube Arena
Pick a name, choose a lobby and start shooting — the first player to 15 frags takes the match:
- Choose Single Player for bots, Public Arena for quickplay, or Private for a room code you can share.
- Click the arena to lock your mouse — WASD moves, the mouse aims, left click fires, Space jumps.
- Switch weapons with 1–5 (machinegun, shotgun, rockets, railgun, sniper) and Q for the knife.
- Grab ammo crates and health pickups around the map; killed players drop crates of their own.
- First to 15 frags wins. Check the live scoreboard, then hit Next Match to run it back.
Game modes
| Mode | What changes | Who it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Single Player | Free-for-all deathmatch against bots on the full arena, with no lobby to wait for and no connection to lose. | Anyone learning the map, the weapon spawns and where the sniper lives before facing real players. |
| Public Arena | Quickplay drops you into the first public room with a free slot, alongside real players and bots filling the gaps. | Players who just want a match now, against whoever happens to be online. |
| Private Room | You get a six-character room code to share; everyone who enters it lands in your arena and nobody else can. | Friends who want the lobby to themselves — no accounts, no invites, just a link. |
Tips for Cube Arena
- Learn the sniper spawn on the north-east tower. Whoever holds it controls the open ground.
- Never fire the sniper unscoped — without the right mouse button its spread is useless.
- Rockets do not need a direct hit. Aim at the floor by someone's feet and let the splash do the work.
- The knife never runs out and hits for 55. If you are out of ammo, a corner ambush still wins fights.
- Kills drop ammo crates that vanish after 20 seconds — clean up before you move on.
- Keep moving and use the vertical space. Standing still on open ground is a free frag for the railgun.
Who made Cube Arena?
Cube Arena was built for crokocat in 2026 — a dependency-free 3D arena shooter that runs in a single browser tab, with a hand-built 90×90 map, six weapons and a lightweight relay for public and private multiplayer rooms.

Frequently asked questions
Is Cube Arena free to play?
Yes. It runs free in your browser on crokocat with no download, no install and no sign-up — just open it and pick a lobby.
Can I play Cube Arena with friends?
Yes. Choose Private to create a room and you get a six-character code; anyone who enters it lands in your arena. Public Arena drops you into quickplay with whoever is online.
Is Cube Arena a Roblox game?
No. It is an independent browser game and is not affiliated with Roblox in any way. It borrows the blocky, cube-figure look that Roblox shooters like Rivals and Arsenal made popular, but it runs on the open web — nothing to install and no account required.
What weapons are in the game?
Six: machinegun, shotgun, rocket launcher, railgun, a scoped sniper that kills in one shot, and a knife with unlimited swings. You start with the machinegun and pick the rest up around the arena.
How does a match end?
The first player to reach 15 frags wins. The match results screen shows the final scoreboard, and Next Match restarts the arena straight away.
Does Cube Arena work on a phone?
Not yet. It needs a mouse for aiming and a keyboard for movement, so it is desktop and laptop only for now.
