2048は2014年にインターネットを飲み込んだスライドパズルです。盤面をまるごと一方向に押し込み、同じ数字が融合してより大きくなる様子を眺めながら、盤面が埋まる前に伝説の2048タイルを目指します。

2048の操作は上下左右にスライドするだけ。そのたったひとつの動きがゲーム全体を支えています。盤面のタイルはすべて行けるところまで進み、同じ数字のタイルがぶつかると合計値のひとつのタイルに合体します。2と2で4、4と4で8、そしてその道のずっと先に、このゲームの名前になったタイルが待っています。

厄介なのは、スライドするたびに空きマスのどこかへ新しいタイルが生まれることです。2048で本当に価値があるのはスペースです。盤面はたった16マスしかなく、考えなしにスワイプしていると想像よりずっと早く埋まります。2048に到達する人は、いちばん多く合体させた人ではありません。大きなタイルを角に置いたまま、理由もなく陣形を崩さない人です。

このバージョンは2014年のオリジナルに忠実です。同じ90対10の出現確率、1手につき同じタイルは1回だけ合体するルール、そして2048タイルを作ったあとに続行できる仕組みまでそのまま。加えたのは現代のブラウザ版に必要なものだけ。なめらかなアニメーション、スマホのスワイプ操作、そして次に訪れたときも残っているベストスコアです。

考える人のための理想的な暇つぶしゲームでもあります。1プレイは数分、負けた理由は必ず自分にあり、次の挑戦はワンタップ先。この組み合わせこそ、2048が史上もっとも遊ばれたブラウザゲームのひとつになった理由です。

2048の遊び方

操作はひとつ、ルールもひとつ、目標もひとつ。これがすべてです。

好きな方向に盤面をスライドします。すべてのタイルが行けるところまで動きます。
同じ数字のタイルが触れ合うとひとつに合体し、その分だけスコアが加算されます。
1手ごとに空きマスのどこかへ新しい2（まれに4）が出現します。
2048タイルを作ればクリアです。度胸があるなら、そのまま続けてさらに上のスコアを狙いましょう。
盤面が埋まり、隣り合うタイルに同じ数字がなくなるとゲーム終了です。

パソコン: 矢印キーまたはWASDでタイルをスライドします。

スマホ: 盤面のどこでも上下左右にスワイプします。

2048のコツ

いちばん大きなタイルを置く角をひとつ決めて、絶対に動かさないこと。左下か右下を選ぶ人が多いです。
大きなタイルを角から引きはがす方向は避けましょう。ほかに動かせる手がないときだけ使います。
大きなタイルを一辺に沿ってヘビのように降順で並べておくと、合体が自然に連鎖します。
盤面の中央で小さな合体を追いかけないこと。とっさの+8より、空きマスのほうが価値があります。
盤面が混み合ってきたらペースを落としましょう。ほとんどのプレイは、気の抜けた1回のスワイプで終わります。

2048を作ったのは?

この2048は2026年にゲームスタジオcrokocatによって作られました。Gabriele Cirulliが2014年に生んだ名作を、外部ライブラリなしで忠実に再現し、パソコンのキーボードとスマホのスワイプに合わせて調整しています。
