小さいままでいることを拒む〇×ゲームです。定番の3×3でコンピューターに勝つと盤面が大きくなり、5×5では4つ並べ、7×7と9×9では本格的な五目並べのルールに。AIも一歩ごとに鋭くなっていきます。

〇×ゲームの結末は誰もが知っています。そこそこ打てる2人、埋まった盤、引き分け、肩をすくめて終わり。だからこそこのバージョンは3×3で止まりません。小さな盤はただの玄関口です。勝てば5×5の盤が渡され、4つ並べる必要が生まれた瞬間、子どものころに暗記した角取りやフォークや罠が通用しなくなります。

そこからさらに登ります。7×7、そして9×9。どちらも5つ並べで、何世紀にもわたって磨かれてきた紙とペンの名作、五目並べと同じ系譜のルールです。大きな盤では、覚えた手順ではなく、同時に2つの脅威を作ることがゲームの中心になります。脅威がひとつだけなら、必ず止められてしまうからです。

コンピューターも盤とともに成長します。最初のレベルでは上の空の友達のような打ち方をして、見落としもあり、勝つのはウォームアップ程度です。最後の盤に着くころには、ダブルの脅威を狙い、こちらの三の伸びを読み、緩い手をきっちり咎めてきます。勝てばレベルに応じた得点が入り、負けると連勝記録はゼロに戻ります。

先手はラウンドごとに交代するので、どちらかが先手の有利を持ち続けることはありません。5秒で覚えられるルールが、まったく違う遊び味の4つの盤にまたがっている。コーヒーブレイクのパズルとしても、勝ちにくる機械との真剣勝負としても成立する、めずらしいゲームです。

Tic Tac Toe Classicの遊び方

あなたが×、コンピューターが〇です。残りは5行に収まります。

空いているマスをタップして×を置きます。コンピューターと交互に打ちます。
縦・横・斜めのいずれかで一直線をそろえるとその盤に勝ちます。
レベル1は3つ並べ、5×5は4つ並べ、7×7と9×9は5つ並べです。
1ラウンド勝つと、より賢い相手が待つ次の大きな盤が解放されます。
負けると連勝記録がリセットされ、同じ盤をもう一度プレイします。先手はラウンドごとに交代します。

パソコン: マウスでマスをクリックします。

スマホ: タッチ画面でマスをタップします。盤面はスマホの画面に合わせて縮尺が変わります。

Tic Tac Toe Classicのコツ

3×3では可能なら中央を取り、角を使ったダブルの罠に気をつけましょう。
大きな盤では、三が一列あるだけでは毎回止められます。相手が同時に防げない2つの脅威を作って勝ちましょう。
両端が空いた三は装填された銃です。自分は作り、コンピューターには絶対に作らせないこと。
自分の石の近くに打ちましょう。9×9では、ばらばらに置いた石は何の役にも立ちません。
守るときは、コンピューターが伸ばせる余地の大きい側をふさぎましょう。

このTic-Tac-Toeは2026年にゲームスタジオcrokocatによって作られました。校庭の定番を五目並べサイズの盤面まで拡張し、だんだん牙をむくコンピューター相手に、マウスとタッチの両方で遊べるよう調整しています。
