Cannon Smash Playgroundは、Royal Smashスタイルの無料ブラウザ大砲ゲームです。アリーナの向こうへねらいを定めて、あちこち跳ね返る砲弾を撃ち、ショット数がゼロになる前にビン、缶、ブロックをひとつ残らずテーブルから落とします。全500ステージとデイリーパズル付きで、インストールは不要です。
元になっているのは、昔ながらの縁日の遊び、ボールで棚の空き缶を倒す的当てです。スマホの時代になって、これが物理パズルになりました。2018年にはVoodooのKnock Balls!がブロックのタワーに球をぶつける仕組みでヒットチャートをにぎわせ、ブラウザゲームのサイトもCannon Balls 3Dなどでこのアイデアを取り入れました。そしてCypher GamesのRoyal Smash! (Physics Puzzle)が、手作りの数百ステージ、限られたショット数、テーブルに積まれたビンや木箱という形で大ヒットさせました。Cannon Smash Playgroundは、この形式をブラウザ向けに作った私たちのバージョンです。アプリストアもインストールも不要で、タブを開けばすぐ始まります。
各ステージでは、ひとつまたは複数のテーブルにおもちゃのような鮮やかなパーツが並びます。6色のジャムのビン、缶、木箱と木の円柱、石のブロックと氷のブロックです。1発の砲弾がパーツに直接当たることもあれば、別のパーツに跳ね返ることも、支えを弾き飛ばして上に積まれたものをまとめてテーブルの端から落とすこともあります。
砲弾は最初に当たったあとも勢いを保ったままシーンの中を進むので、どこを撃つかと同じくらい、どの角度で当てるかが大切です。3D物理演算は本物で、連鎖反応は自然に起こります。Royal SmashやKnock Ballsがやめられなくなる、あの気持ちよさです。
キャンペーンは全500ステージ。最初の160ステージではパーツの組み合わせを新しい左右対称の建物に組み直し、その後は複数のテーブルにまたがる大きな配置へと広がっていきます。難しさは短い波のように上がり、5ステージごとにやさしめのステージが入るので、難しい面のあとには必ずひと息つけます。デイリーパズルでは、キャンペーンの進行とは別に、毎日もうひとつ配置が遊べます。
ステージをクリアすると15コイン。リワード広告があるときは、それを2倍にできます。弾が尽きたら、200コインで今の挑戦にショットを3発追加できます。コインが足りないときは、リワード広告でその3発をもらえることもあります。コインと進行状況はブラウザに保存され、crokocatにログインするとアカウントに引き継がれます。

Cannon Smash Playgroundの遊び方
ねらいを定めてテーブルを片づけよう：
- ポインターを動かすかドラッグして、大砲を支え、すき間、パーツのかたまりに向けます。
- クリック、タップ、または指を離して砲弾を発射。跳ね返り方と、そこから起きる連鎖をよく見ましょう。
- ショット数がゼロになる前に、的になっているパーツをすべて台から落とします。
- 別の角度を試したいときはステージをリスタート。失敗したあとは、コインか、利用できればリワード広告でショットを3発追加できます。

Cannon Smash Playgroundのコツ
- 積まれたものをまとめて落としたいなら、支えているブロックの低い位置をねらいましょう。
- テーブルの端にあるビンや缶は軽く触れるだけで落ちます。いちばんいい角度は、真ん中の重い石や木のパーツのために取っておきましょう。
- ふたつのパーツのちょうど間を撃つと両方が揺れますが、斜めから当てたほうが力が伝わることがよくあります。
- 次のショットを決める前に、1発目の砲弾がどこへ跳ねたかを確認しましょう。
- 横に広いステージでは、ひとつずつ落とすより、複数のテーブルに届く1発を探しましょう。
- 200コインは残しておきましょう。ほとんど片づいたテーブルでの追加3発は、やり直しよりずっと価値があります。
