Stack to the Stars는 버튼 하나로 하는 타워 쌓기입니다. 블록이 화면을 가로질러 미끄러지면 탭해서 떨어뜨리고, 아래 타워에서 벗어난 부분은 잘려 나갑니다. 충분히 높이 쌓으면 하늘 자체가 바뀌어요. 낮이 노을로 저물고 밤이 찾아오고, 그 위에는 별들이 기다립니다.
Stack to the Stars에서 할 일은 정확히 하나이고, 그 하나를 멈추기가 불가능합니다. 블록이 타워 위를 왔다 갔다 미끄러지면 탭하고, 떨어집니다. 딱 맞게 착지하면 타워는 폭을 유지해요. 어설프게 놓으면 삐져나온 부분이 잘려 허공으로 떨어지고, 그다음 블록부터는 쓸 공간이 줄어듭니다.
긴장감이 아름답게도 전부 자업자득입니다. 아무도 나를 쏘지 않고 타이머도 없어요. 유일한 적은 두 층 전에 어긋난 그 몇 밀리미터입니다. 정확함도 그만큼 보답받습니다. 완벽한 착지는 콤보를 쌓고, 세 번 연속 성공할 때마다 타워 폭이 다시 넓어져서, 날카로운 연속 성공 한 번이 몇 분간의 엉성한 플레이를 만회해 줍니다.
올라가는 것 자체가 보상입니다. 타워는 대낮의 옥상 스카이라인에서 시작해 타오르는 노을을 지나고, 초승달이 뜬 별밤으로 올라가, 마침내 공기가 끝나고 별이 더는 반짝이지 않는 곳까지 나아갑니다. 높이 갈수록 블록은 빨라지고, 숨소리는 조용해지죠.
한 판은 1분, 잘 풀린 판은 3분이 걸리고 손바닥이 따뜻해집니다. 가장 순수한 형태의 점수 도전 게임이에요. 입력 하나, 기술 하나, 그리고 깨기 전까지 계속 따라다니는 최고 높이 숫자 하나.
Stack to the Stars 하는 법
버튼 하나, 규칙 하나, 그리고 아주 긴 오르막:
- 블록이 타워 위를 왔다 갔다 미끄러집니다. 탭해서 떨어뜨리세요.
- 아래 블록 밖으로 삐져나온 부분은 잘려 사라집니다.
- 머리카락 한 올 차이로 완벽하게 놓으면 블록이 딱 맞물립니다. 손실 없이 콤보가 올라가요.
- 완벽한 착지를 세 번 연속하면 타워 폭이 다시 넓어집니다.
- 블록이 완전히 빗나가면 타워가 무너집니다. 높이 올라갈수록 블록이 빨라져요.
컴퓨터: 화면을 클릭하거나 Space를 눌러 블록을 떨어뜨립니다.
모바일: 화면 아무 곳이나 탭하세요.
Stack to the Stars 팁
- 타워가 아니라 블록을 보세요. 블록의 앞쪽 끝이 타워 가장자리를 지날 때 떨어뜨리면 됩니다.
- 눈보다 리듬이 중요합니다. 블록은 익힐 수 있는 일정한 박자로 오갑니다.
- 초반에 폭을 지키세요. 넓은 타워는 실수를 용서하지만, 얇아진 타워는 그러지 않습니다.
- 마음이 차분할 때 완벽한 연속을 노리세요. 세 번 연속이면 폭을 되찾을 수 있습니다.
- 속도가 올라가면 한쪽으로 결단하세요. 늦게 반응하는 것이 일찍 떨어뜨리는 것보다 나쁩니다.
